Portable Battery Capacities and Uses

Battery packs are available in a variety of capacities. The larger the capacity the larger the device the battery pack can power. The smaller battery packs can be used to power less demanding devices such as cell phones and GPS. The mid-range capacity batteries can power a laptop, air pump or heating pad. The larger batteries are capable of powering a drill, electric cooler, or other high requirement devices.

Charging Portable Batteries

Most of our portable batteries can be fully charged in under 10 hours from a standard wall outlet, 12V car adapter (the cigarette lighter) or via solar panel. The charge time is fastest using an electrical outlet or car adapter, and generally longest when using solar power. These rechargeable lithium-ion batteries have a lifespan of hundreds of battery cycles.

Our portable emergency batteries have a variety of possible outputs to allow you to use your battery to charge a wide variety of personal, household, and survival gear. Portable batteries are available with USB, 12V, laptop, and an inverter ports.
