MREs or Meals Ready to Eat are military style survival food designed to be portable, durable, and easy to prepare in any situation. Complete MRE meals contain an entrée, a side dish, snacks, a beverage mix, a dessert, an accessory pack (including condiments and utensils), and a flameless ration heater. MREs come complete with everything you need to prepare and eat the survival food so no meal preparation gear, like a stove or pot, is necessary.

MRE meals are easy to store, easy to open, and require virtually no preparations. MRE packaging is designed to be durable. MRE meals have a long shelf life when stored in ideal conditions but can also be stored in less than ideal conditions for shorter periods of time without spoiling. When stored at 60°F MRE STAR MREs have a shelf life of 60 months. MRE meals are packaged in a durable aluminum thermo stabilized pouches, which need simply be torn open to eat. The MRE food is completely cooked and does not require the addition of water, nor the application of heat although many MRE entrées do taste better when warmed. The included flameless ration heater is used to quickly and effectively warm the food without the need for a flame.
